Tecora Flowcal

The FlowCal Air multi-function calibrator allows the user to verify the
calibration of all the parameters normally measured by a large volume air sampler, flowrates, temperatures and pressures.
These characteristics make the FlowCal Air a unique device to test the
accuracy of an instrument as part of a quality assurance procedure. Each sensor in the FlowCal Air has a calibration traceable to national standards .To validate an air sampler the sample head is replaced by a Flowcell Air of the appropriate flow range and the air sampler run as normal for the duration of the tests.
The operator enters the data displayed by the sampler for each of the measured parameters in turn. The device generates a calibration test report containing cell in use, calibration expiry date, ambient conditions during verification test, measurement deviation and more. The report is transferred as an XML file using a memory stick, the files can be opened and read in a browser or spreadsheet. Each Flowcell Air has been individually calibrated and has calibration data  stored on a microchip in the device. Three cells are available; Hi Flow cell with range 150 to 600 l/min; Mid Flow cell, with range 10 to 50 l/min and Lo Flow cell with range below 10 l/min. The FlowCal Air can also be used with other calibrated measurement orifices. The FlowCal Air is powered from AA batteries with a lifetime of 90 hours and an internal memory for 256 reports.
