MFC's and Sonic Nozzles

In order to generate test gas samples at a range of concentrations a standard mixture is blended with a carrier gas (usually nitrogen) to produce a range of concentration. Mass Flow Controllers regulate flow with an accuracy of ±2%, for greater precision and reduced drift an array of Sonic Nozzles can be used to achieve gas mixing with an accuracy of ±1% or better.
